The 300 series mandolins from the Eastman company are an incredible value. They feature all solid wood construction with a beautiful satin finish that is rich and old world in appearance. With a sound and playability that is as sweet and burnished as their vintage good looks, we don't know of any other product that can compete with these amazing instruments at this price.
The solid Adirondack Spruce top adds a nice punch to the traditional MD305. The new wider nut of 1 3/16” offers comfort and a bit more room to move around. All in all, this is a great addition to the Eastman mandolin line.
