This stripped back and powered up Les Paul Special from Gibson checks just about every box one would need when looking for a solid electric guitar. It’s upgraded ThroBak P90 pickups give it a pleasing sonic profile coupled with the muscle of something like a humbucker. The added Schaller Signum bridge also allows for more accurate intonation than a standard wrap-around bridge. These two upgrades make this guitar quite attractive to someone looking for a swiss army knife instrument while maintaining a good value.

The feel of this guitar is one of the more notable structural features. Sporting a 50s style neck profile, one can grip the neck and fret chords with ease without needing to contort their hand too much. It fills up the palm nicely and balances out the guitar’s weight. As to be expected, the rest of the guitar is fairly stripped back in terms of structure and aesthetics. The knobs and pickup switch are very easy to operate and exist in the same location as other Les Pauls – making switching from a standard Les Paul to this special a breeze. As icing on the cake, this model sports a wonderful TV Yellow finish to look as great as it feels on stage.

The original owner of this guitar kept it in pristine condition. It exhibits only minor finish wear and swirling. As such, we rate as EXCELLENT+ condition.
