It is no secret that the Gibson Les Paul is one of the most popular and influential instruments to ever be put into production. It’s known for its fat and cutting tone that can be found on countless classic and modern recordings, as well as a great deal of sustain that comes from the solid wood and set neck. It can be played clean in a jazz style, and in the same instant be turned up and transformed into an unruly beast of nature.

This particular R7 exhibits a weight and feel that lend themselves to a sound that is strident and full of sustain. The neck leans larger, making it a sturdy support base for your hand when digging into notes on the fingerboard. The Jim Wagner WCR Godwood PAF-Style pickups in this guitar give it an incredibly fat and harmonically rich tone. Loved by Gibson enthusiasts, these humbuckers are exactly the kind of electronics that give a Les Paul its signature sound.  

The stock pickups on this guitar have been replaced with Jim Wagner WCR Godwood Pickups. They appear to have been “aged”.  The originals PAF style humbuckers are not present. This particular guitar has some very slight signs of use, but not many and you have to look hard to see them.  We rate it as excellent condition.
