Standard Series Style 21 OM

Standard Series Style 21 OM

"The OM-21 has had a makeover, and in addition to the structural and cosmetic enhancements, it sports a new neck profile. This instrument now features a forward-shifted X-brace with scalloped 1/4" top braces, an ebony fingerboard with Style 28 inlays and bone nut, an ebony bridge with bone saddle, a Sitka spruce top with aging toner, a Style 28 rosette, a Delmar tortoise pickguard with tortoise colored binding, Style 18 back purfling, open-geared tuning machines with butterbean knobs, and a modified low oval profile neck with a 1.75" nut and Performing Artist taper. This fast playing satin finished neck was introduced with the Performing Artist series of Martin guitars, and because of its popularity, it is now featured on other Martin models as well. With the enhancements to its appearance and the tweaks to maximize its sound and playability, this incarnation of the OM-21 may be Martin's best to date." - From the Martin website
