In collaboration with the fine luthiers at Eastman, the Bourgeois Touchstone series brings a new flavor to the world of acoustic guitars. With the tops selected and built by Bourgeois and bodies constructed by Eastman, these guitars exhibit all of the tonal excellence that comes with both of those brands. They are a perfect mix of durability and sonic prowess, making them an excellent daily driver. 

Above all else, this Country Boy dreadnought is a great sounding workhorse guitar. The instrument feels incredibly solid and durable when held in the players hands. In addition to this, the semi-gloss neck and full gloss body give it a very comfortable feel. Said neck features a soft "V" carve that has a tinge of vintage feel without being too extreme as to make the neck uncomfortable to play.

Aside from its toughness, this model exhibits quite an inspiring sound. Just like other dreadnoughts, flat picking and chord strumming are highlighted nicely. However, fingerpicking is by no means discouraged by this guitar's construction. It was evident that the guitar had a healthy midrange content that could still speak well at the lower volume often associated with finger picking. 

All things considered, the Bourgeois Country Boy dreadnought is an excellent choice for a player seeking a very high quality acoustic guitar build without getting into the boutique guitar price range. Sturdy, comfortable and great sounding, this guitar is bound to be in one's arsenal as their every day gigging guitar.
