2021 Thermo Cured Dreadnought
Like other Traditional Series Eastmans, the E8D features: all-solid construction (in this case a Thermo-Cured Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides), bone nut and saddle, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a full gloss finish.
The Eastman Dreadnought models clearly take visual cues from classic Martin designs, and they have a balanced, though somewhat brighter voicing. Even so, they are very responsive and powerful, and they retain enough meat in their note foundation to allow for tonal color that is both pliable and expressive. Considering that any guitar of comparable specs coming from a major American manufacturer could easily approach $3000-4000 or more, the E8D is a hard guitar to ignore.
Cosmetic Description:
There is one very minor ding on the upper bout, bass side. Other than that, this guitar shows virtually no play wear. We would rate it EXCELLENT+
