Although it's the same width and depth as the OM, the longer body typically produces more bass and overall volume.  The Collings 000 12-Fret is a great favorite at Maple Street Guitars. The 12-fret body design with its longer soundboard has a surprisingly big, open tonal quality ideal for solo playing. In contrast to a 14-fret model, the increased chamber displacement of the soundbox created by the 12-fret design enhances the bass and mid-range response. Yet, the sound is not bass heavy because the narrower width 000 body contributes to the even balance between the bass and treble registers such that melodic lines can be more easily articulated. 

Cosmetic Description:

This guitar has been very well maintained overall.  Due to a known pour filler issue in the 90s, it has had a full factory refinish. There are no structural issues or repairs to report.  It is virtually free of any cosmetic flaws. We would rate this guitar in exceptionally fine condition. EXCELLENT +
