Line 6’s Helix eco-system has long been one of the premier, flagship modelers of its generation. And despite debuting 10 years ago, it shows no signs of stopping! The Helix was a true gamechanger that shaped the way users and other brands alike thought about how a modeler should look, function, and sound, even to this day. The Helix LT followed 2 years after the initial Helix Floor launch and presented a more streamlined hardware unit with all of the same software functionality as the Helix Floor, including the same DSP power and the same collection of 112 amplifier channels, 87 speaker cabinets, and 274 effects (as of Firmware Update 3.80). 

Line 6 were amongst the earliest pilgrims of modeling since their launch in 1996. They made a name for themselves with earlier efforts like the bright red “bean” shaped Pod and the “Insane”-ly popular Spider amplifier series. But the Helix afforded them an opportunity to push the envelope of the modeling world. The Helix was (and still is) a device that kept up with the performance of other top-rated modelers but offered a genuinely more intuitive user experience. Thus, the learning curve here is not quite so steep compared to many of its colleagues while still rewarding those who understand real life signal chains and cabinet-micing techniques. The Helix was also designed to seamlessly work in any rig in just about any capacity. Want to use it as a multi-effects pedalboard? It will do that! Want to use it with additional external pedals and amplifiers? It can do that, too! Want to use it as an all-in-one solution for live and/or studio contexts? Say no more!

This particular Helix LT was barely used by its previous owner since its original date of purchase and was kept in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no notable signs of wear or abuse. While it came loaded with Firmware 3.11, it has been updated to the latest Firmware 3.80 to include every single model as well as the newer, updated Cabinet Engine. Recently, Line 6 lowered the prices on the Helix Floor and LT which means that there’s never been a better time to dip into the waters of a top-tier modeler than now!
