Joe Osborn is a bass player who you may not know by name but have certainly heard before. Countless times. As part of the famous Wrecking Crew his bass playing has been featured in about 200 Top 40 Hits on Pop and Country charts. He appears on numerous tracks from The Mamas and The Papas, Simon & Garfunkel, Ricky Nelson, Kenny Rogers, The Carpenters, Glen Campbell, Neil Diamond, amongst a long list of others. Most of these hits were performed on a 60s Jazz Bass, which informed and inspired this one. Introduced in 1998, the Lākland 44-60 features all the most desired characteristics that players have come to know and love of 60s Jazz Basses but with modern technology and functionality to create an instrument with an old soul and modern playability that will appeal to vintage enthusiasts and seasoned pros. Its as versatile as the player its named after and is American made to stand up to the rigors of the most demanding bassists.
This bass was very well kept with no notable wear. It appears virtually brand new. Even the case has been kept in excellent shape. NEAR MINT condition.
