Guild Guitars F-30R STD AB 2012 Orchestra Model with Antique Burst Spruce Top, Rosewood Back and Sides, and K&K Pure Western Mini Pickup

The F-30 debuted in 1954 as the "Aragon", featuring a smaller 15" orchestra size body with a laminated arched maple back, three piece mahogany/maple neck with a 25 1/2" scale, and an unbound rosewood fingerboard. Many iterations of this popular model were introduced over the years until production was discontinued in 1986 during George Gruhn's tenure at Guild. For example, the F-30R, with rosewood back and sides and a 15 1/2" body, first came available in 1973, but production of it was short lived, as it was discontinued in 1978. Fast forward to 1998, three years after Fender purchased the Guild company, and the F-30R was re-introduced as a new member of the Guild stable of guitars. Today, the Guild brand is owned by the Cordoba guitar company, and traditional Guild models are now being made in a new facility in Oxnard, California.

This 2012 F-30R was made in Fender's Guild workshop that was located in New Hartford, Connecticut. This guitar is in excellent condition with only minor playing wear.

This guitar includes its original deluxe archtop hardshell case. (used)
