Traditional Series Parlor Guitar with Adirondack Top and Rosewood Back and Sides

The current resurgence of interest in folk music and other acoustic-centric genres has created unprecedented variety in the acoustic guitar market, particularly with respect to small-bodied guitars. While mining the past for inspiration, manufacturers have applied their modern building techniques and tooling to these new and exciting models, and, in doing so, have produced some tremendous guitars for the money. Compared to more modestly priced imports, Eastman has continually distinguished itself as a company that prioritizes quality of construction and performance over price points - as we often say around here, they are not joining the race to the bottom! Guitars like this E20P serve as evidence of Eastman's high quality approach.

While the Eastman Traditional Series Parlor models clearly take visual cues from classic Martin designs, the balanced sound they produce is a bit brighter, with perhaps a more immediate note release. They are very responsive, and they retain enough meat in their note foundation to allow for tonal color that is both pliable and expressive. Considering that any guitar of comparable specs coming from a major American manufacturer could easily approach $3000-$4000 or more, the E20P is a hard guitar to ignore - especially if you are just testing the parlor guitar waters!

Like other Traditional Series Eastmans, the E20P features: all-solid construction (in this case an Adirondack top and Rosewood back and sides), bone nut and saddle, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a full gloss finish.

Features:

* Solid Adirondack Spruce Top
* Hand-carved Scalloped X-Bracing
