The custom features of this instrument include a sharper Florentine cutaway, select solid mahogany back and sides with an Adirondack spruce top, a beautiful abalone rosette, ebony body bindings, and brushed gold Gotoh Delta tuning machines. The understated simplicity of the attractive cosmetic appointments suggest a suave refinement that is in contrast to the earthy, strong, powerful personality that the stiffer Adirondack spruce top and select mahogany back and sides provide to the voice of this instrument. The already easy playability is further enhanced by the Forentine cutaway which provides access to the generally "dusty" parts of the fingerboard.
